Programme

If you’re a young person living in the UK with a passion for sport or leading a youth sports club, the LouLou Race Foundation is here for you!

Supercharge Your Potential

We’re on a mission to help you be the best you can be through your sporting endeavours. How? For example, we could contribute towards your coaching, equipment and kit, or travel expenses.

Whatever your sport, if you’re showing some talent, you can apply for a grant from LouLou Race Foundation to help fund your practice—even if you’ve just started out. You’ve Got This!

Unlike most charitable grants in this field, we go beyond just financing you. You’ll be welcomed into our tribe of like-minded, aspiring athletes.

We will also connect you with our fabulous network of professional and certified coaches and mentors so that you have the best chance for success.

Programme & Grants

Individuals

If you think you’ve got what it takes, you can apply to join the LouLou Race Foundation Programme today! We consider each and every application and our Council Members meet every quarter to make our decisions, so it won’t be long before you find out if you’re successful! It’s easy to apply, simply click the button below and follow the instructions.

You will need to tell us:

1) Who you are

2) What your sport is, and what level you are at

3) What your ambitions and goals are

4) Evidence of the need and impact the funding would have. If you are under 16 years of age, a parent or guardian may apply on your behalf. We particularly encourage applicants from single-parent and lower-income families, girls and young women, and individuals based in island and rural communities.

#Sports we love

Sports we support

We are open to supporting all sports - both team and individual sports - as we want everyone to embrace the benefits of sporting participation. Below are a few of the sports we have already considered grants for. But don’t worry if you don’t see your favourite activity there - the sky really is the limit!

“My mum would always say, life is never a straight path, and it doesn’t always go your way.

Don’t be defined by your situation. As long as you put your best foot forward, then you’ll probably exceed even your own expectations. It’s only when you look back do you realise how far you’ve come. It’s easy to get imposter syndrome.

As you progress further there are always going to be more sacrifices you have to make, and it’s often only possible with financial stability and support, whether that’s at home or from your community. A solid support system on your journey can really help you to pursue your dreams.”
